Hey my name is Lila! I’m 18, just graduated from high school, and I live in Destin, Florida. I don’t have the most exciting life, I spend my time working at Smoothie King, reading, and hanging out with my friends. The only thing I’m really good at is school, and I plan on going to the University of Florida and medical school afterwards to be a pediatrician. I absolutely adore children, almost to the point of creepiness. God has made a place in my heart especially for kids and I feel led to minister to them whether or not I’m called into full time mission work. My other passions include learning, Harry Potter, good music, Settlers of Catan, and physics. I’ve been blessed with three best friends Amelia, Rachael, and Samantha. I learn from them constantly and it’s going to be hard for me to adjust to life without them.
I’ve never actually been on a mission trip before. And I’ve never been away from home for more than 2 months at a time. So naturally, I’m kind of nervous about next year. But God has set aside this year of my life to get to know and love Him more, and I can’t wait to see how He uses me and how much I learn. I’m really, really excited to meet and get to know all of you!
